Jamal Fenton, a Houston, TX native, played four years for the University of New Mexico from 2009-2013. He was a part of three NCAA Tournaments and a three time Mountain West Conference champion. After five years playing overseas professionally, he is giving back his knowledge and IQ of the game of basketball to the youth of New Mexico. His passion for teaching life skills, hard work, commitment, and sacrifice through basketball is unmatched!

Hao huynh
Coach Hao Huynh has over 18 years of experience coaching youth basketball, from ages 5 up through high school. Coach Hao currently runs and operates his family business and has used his business knowledge as an integral part of helping to grow the FFA program. He has a passion for working out and training and he carries that passion over to teaching the youth how to use strength and conditioning to elevate their game and personal goals. He enjoys coaching because it allows him to mentor the youth to be disciplined and capable adults, in and outside of the game of basketball.
NIKKI HECKROTH-LOBATO
Nikki Heckroth-Lobato currently works at Sandia National Laboratories supporting the Asset Security & WMD Response Program. She has a Masters and Bachelors Degree in Accounting. She played her basketball career at the University of New Mexico. She was the Color Commentator for 610 the Sports Animal in support of the University of New Mexico Women’s Basketball Program from 2007-2023.
Career Highlights:
- Completed her career as UNM’s all-time leader in games played and 2nd in assists (424)
- Two-year captain and Academic All-MWC the final three seasons
- School record 200 assists in 2000-01
- NCAA Appearances, WNIT Appearances, WNIT Championship Game
